Pasco EDC hits a home run

Our friends at the Pasco Economic Development Council shared in a major announcement last week. ODESSA, Fla. —Dais Analytic Corporation (Dais), along with the Pasco Economic Development Council (PEDC) and the U.S. Trade and Development Office, today released details of a $200 million dollar international trade agreement with Chinese state-owned company that could bring over a thousand new ‘green’ jobs to Pasco County in the coming years. This is a great example of the PEDC incubating growth. The PEDC lured Dias Analytic to the area in 1998 through the use of $1.2 million in incentives. Dias currently employs 18 people. The company, founded in New York in 1993, has a scientific background and they have invented two major products with huge potential worldwide.
